Last Monday Google announced android - the new Google OS for mobile phones. The announcement made me wonder, how big can Google get? Google has been the biggest broker of the Internet. Almost 60% of all web traffic is redirected by Google. What would happen of android was to make it big like their search engine. Possibilities with mobile phone is endless. One of the reason is the sheer no. of mobile phone users (there are more mobile phones than PCs) but the potential is untapped yet.If Google was to control the mobile platform as they are controlling online search, the possibility for the growth of for it is huge. Every move the Mountain View based company makes never fails to create a splash. Due to the announcement of open handset alliance, the share of Google skyrocketed. It is worth more than $220 billion and is 5th largest corporation in the US based on market capitalization.So how big can Google get? Makes me wonder.
