Wow! Software developer Samir has just released a Beta version of full youtube player. Although this is in beta, it really shows us a glimpse of things to come. Download the youtube player YTPlayer.

Please note that you will need to install Adobe flash lite player 3. This version of flash lite is also only a developer edition and is not intended as replacement for the current flash player provided with the phone.

The file is in .swf format and it should be run from with in Adobe flash lite 3 and make sure you copy the file to either c:/data/others or e:/others.

I am a big fan of pizero’s theme for S60 phones and new one is just out. It’s called “New Gold” theme and looks cool. Its similar to the original Gold theme with some changes.

There is a nice theme available for Nokia S60 Phones. The theme is called “Bronze Cubic”.  It is a dark colored theme and suits the N95 quite well. The screenshot is from N95 V20 firmware. By the way you can see multitasking in all  its glory in one of the screenshots :).

LOOPRumors is reporting that a new iTablet is on the work and might be unveiled on January 2008. According to them, the new device will run a customized version of Mac OS X Leopard. The device is not meant as a replacement for the MacBooks but rather to complement them.

They are also reporting that this device might use Mini dvd drive instead of a regular drive which actually doesn’t sound likely to me. The latest firmware for Nokia N95 is now available through nokia software updater. This version of firmware includes among other things demand paging, which means 30MB of free ram after booting! This feature is enough to not resist the update. It means no more irritating “out of memory error”.Few of the improvements with the new firmware is:

• Search 4.0 integration on standby screen. 
• Demand paging (for ROM applications) with 30 plus MB free RAM after booting.
• N-Gage game previews (FIFA, Asphalt) and portal/shortcut to upcoming N-Gage client, as in N81 and N95 8GB
• Nokia Music Store client, although the store server hasn’t been updated to handle the N95 yet - maybe this’ll happen later today
• New camera software and tweaks from the 8GB model - FAR faster shot to shot time, with ‘Processing image message’ during any delays
